Care homes
reliably heated.
No investment.
High room temperatures, hot water for every room, operation 365 days a year. A provider builds, finances and operates the new heat supply and is responsible for faults. You only pay the agreed heat price.

- €0investment for the conversion
- 15 yearsfixed heat price, at least 10
- Supply securedalso during the switch-over
Hardly any building needs as much heat as a care home.
High heat demand around the clock
Rooms and common areas are kept at 22 to 24 degrees all year, plus hot water for care, kitchen and laundry. The heating practically never rests.
Costs rise faster than the fees
Care rates and fees are renegotiated only at intervals. Until then you bear rising energy costs yourself.
No room for outages
If the heating fails in winter, it affects people who are particularly vulnerable. An old system is a risk nobody likes to carry.

Frequently asked by providers and owners
Is supply secured during the conversion?
Yes. Work concerns the boiler room, outdoor areas and roof. The switch-over itself is planned outside the heating season, hot water is provided throughout.
Is a heat pump enough for the high room temperatures?
The system is designed for your actual consumption, based on your statements of recent years. The controls lower the flow temperature only as far as the rooms hold their temperature. Where necessary a peak load unit stays in the system.
What happens in case of a fault?
The provider operates the system and is responsible for faults. Response times and availability are set out in the heat supply contract.
We operate the home, the building belongs to an investor. Is that possible?
Yes. You can submit the care home and start the process. The heat supply contract is concluded with the owner. We talk to both sides.
Does this work for several homes of one provider?
Yes. Several care homes of one owner or provider are assessed together.
What does the assessment cost?
Nothing. Assessment, site visit and offer are free of charge and without obligation. Kola NetZero is paid by the provider.
